Can PD 19 Ultimate animate handwriting?

Hi,

Just wondering... can PD 19 Ultimate animate handwriting? I searched PD help but couldn't find any information on this effect.

It's called Brush Animation. In my experience it's easier to do if you have a tablet/laptop with a stylus and touchscreen, although you can certainly use a mouse.

Thank you for the information. I'll try to find a laptop with a stylus to do the job.

By the way, would it be possible to use Brush Animation with pre-selected font and character types, like the one shown in attached screenshot?

No. Brush stroke animations aren't connected to fonts in any way. They're freeform.

However, you should be able to overlay a brush mask to reveal text underneath as if someone was writing out the cursive-style font.
