Is it possible to add audio only from a video while a different video is playing on the timeline?
I want to use audio that is in a video to narrate parts of another video.
But when I add the video to my timeline the original video goes away. Evn though I have it down below in the 3rd track.

Think of the tracks as a stack of books, 1 through N stacked on a table. Book 2 is sitting on top of book 1 so book 1 can't be seen, you only see book 2. If you shrink book 2 a little, then you see parts of book 1 and so on.
With the video in the media library, right click on it and "Extract Audio", this will give you a wav file to use if that's easier.
