Project Changed itself

Hi all, I've been working on a music video project since last December. And today when I opened that project suddenly I find most of the videos including the music file I was using on the video lanes gone apart from the small last video clip I downloaded yesterday. You can see the empty space all the left.

Now often if files are missing you will be notified while downloading that files are missing but in this case that never happened but it just downloaded automatically. Also, I had many files in the media content and they have gone also. I also checked other projects and no problem at all. Somehow this project changed everything itself . Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution apart from starting all over again ?

Thanks Ranbir

Two suggestions:

1) You can't directly paste screenshots or other images here. Either upload it to a site like Imgur where you can get a BBC link to embed in your reply (like I've done below) or simply save the screenshot as JPG or PNG and use the Attachments button below the forum's text box to upload it directly

2) See if you have autosave enabled, then go back to an earlier version of the project and see how it behaves. The Browse button will show where the previous PDS versions are stored:
