Problem with audio running simultaneously on multiple tracks in timeline

For some reason in one of my projects when audio is running simultaneously on multiple tracks in my timeline, the sound echos or is garbled in some way. Also when the clip in one audio track end and one on another audio track begins the second clip just emits a loud humming, buzzing sound. Any idea what could be causing this? Everything had been working fine in the past. This just started last night.

Try manually deleting the temp files. Click on Preferences > General > Manually Delete to remove the temp files and make sure all the files in use for the current project are deleted. Close PD, reopen it and see if the problem persists.

If it does, maybe make a screen recording so we can see the timeline and hear what's happening. Use the Attachments button below the forum text box if the recording is smaller than 100MB in size, otherwise upload it to YouTube or Googe Drive/OneDrive and paste a link to the clip.
