Hello everyone,

I am having an issue with the latest Powerdirector for iPad and there is no where any text editing button to centre or justify text.

I used to be able to centre text before, but now the option isn't there.

Help

Regards
Karin

Hello Karin,

This alignment button was removed about a month ago because you can now more easily align the text using the snap feature. You can see in the attached screenshot and in the below video tutorial:

However, if that doesn't work for you, make sure to let CyberLink know and maybe they will consider putting it back.

Cheers

Thank you for the link but that YouTube link talks about blended text behind images. I just want simple text centering and cant find anything on how to do this now they have taken away the option. Just when I thought they got it all right and now yet another issue.

Regards
Karin

Hello,

As I said, you can see how to center align the text in the video I shared. Just drag it to the center of your video after closing the edit title window to do so, as shown in that screenshot I shared and at this point of the video:

https://youtu.be/QLTcpqMrakI?t=56

It is just a different way of doing text alignment that actually gives you far more control than before. I understand that some users prefer the old way, so hopefully they will add back the align button soon.

Thank you. The issue is even when I follow this video step by step the lady on screen has the align buttons to select centre, justify etc. Dead on 0.57 seconds you can see all her buttons available. This is not what is on my screen sadly.
