PowerDVD12 will not update...

Suddenly I am unable to watch anything on here. It keeps telling me that I need to update periodically. I click "YES" to do the update. If it does anything, I might be able to see the InstallWizard working on it, but then it all just disappears. NOTHING gets updated and it just keeps kicking me out when I try to start my movie. For the love of God, please tell me there is a solution to this nonsense before I throw my keyboard....
