Producing a video in 1440p

Hey all,

I'm using OBS to record videos in 1440p (2560x1440, 16:9).

When I import a recorded video in PD19, properties show these values correctly.

Problem is: when I open the Produce page, I can't find the 1400p resolution anywhere.

The auto-selection I get is H.264AVC, MP4, 3840x2160. So it's actually increasing the video resolution, and this of course bring to a much bigger final file.

Bottom line: is there a way to Produce something in 1440p?

Thanks,
Davide

You may want to change the resolution in OBS to support PD19.
Use Profile Analyzer, and see if it gives you a 100% compatible profile.
Or create a profile similar to OBS
See pre-set options.

Thanks, I'll try to do as suggested.

Anyway, can I say it's pretty strange?

1440p is one of the "great standard", for videogames, on Youtube. It's everywhere.

How's possible it's not supported?

Shazam_71, this old post walks you through how to create a 1440p profile if you really want one, https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/31606.page#post_box_173273 profile.ini for PD19 should be at C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\19.0\UserConfigure to find your Profile.ini file.
