I'm doing a slide show type of presentation...
Several still images in a row, no fade out needed.
Completed it without difficulty, but wondered...

If I was to do one with several dozen photos,
not all displaying for the same amount of time,
is there a quick way to change the time display for
the ones that share the same display time in one fell swoop
without going through changing preferences?

Say there's 2 dozen at one rime setting and one dozen at another...

A project will be coming up soon...

While I'm thinking of it...
Is it possible also to apply fade in/out to an entire line of scenes with one pass?

Any help appreciated.

Select pics in the timeline with any technique (Ctrl LMB, Shift LMB, click and drag with bounding box,...) and then RMB and select Set Clip Attributes > Set Duration... All selected pics will get the new defined duration and clips moved to accommodate new duration.

And for your added question.

Select a timeline track, then RMB on the transition you want to apply to all clips, select “Apply Selected Transition to All Videos on Selected Track” and then set type of transition behavior you want.

Just a posting error. The pic was attached however, which replicates my comments on how to do it. You're not seeing that menu? List your steps or post a pic of what you do see for resolution.

You right click on the transition in the transition room that you want to apply to all video on the selected track. You don't right click on the timeline.

All just a learning experience. Often best to read a few guides, and then just play around for a few days in the interface to learn what can be done. Most things fairly simple mouse clicks here and there.
