Hello,

I installed the trial version of NewBlue FX Stabilizer.
In every tutorial I can find, they say that the 1 step is to analysed (see he screenshot below,
but in powerdirector 365 I cannot find this analyse button (see second screenshot).

What am I missing ?

Did anyone of you manage to used NewBlue Stabilize in PD365 ?

Probably that your NBFX Stabilizer has to be activated/registered first.

The tutorials and screenshots on the NewBlueFX website usually seem to be taken from from Adobe or Apple apps and there are always buttons and graphic design elements shown there that aren't included in the PD version.

That normally just means some of the finer controls aren't available, but without the Analyze button, I'm not sure this plug-in is usable in PD.

I just downloaded and installed the trial version, and as far as I can tell, changing the sliders or using the drop-down list at the lower right to choose one of the presets don't do anything. PD's built-in stabilzer works by actively processing the selected clip as it plays, but this plug-in doesn't seem to do that.

Since PD isn't listed in the stabilizer's supported editors, it's possible that it's simply not compatible and I would suggest contacting NewBlueFX support directly. Please post back here what you find out.

The best stabilizer I know with real perfect results is Prodad's Mercalli 5. Unfortunately, as there are a lot of plugins from Prodad for PD, this great stabilizing tool isn't available for PD. At the moment I use the standalone version for stabilizing in PD, it's an extra step, but worthwhile. The PD stabilizer is very poor, in my opinion, compared to Mercalli5. Recware: DJI Osmo Pocket, GoproHero7Black, PanasonicFZ300/HCX909, Sony PXW-X160.
Software: Vegaspro365+Vegasaur/PowerDirector365
Hardware: i910900k,32GB,GTX2080s, 1920x1200 display
Playware: Samsung Qled QE65Q6FN, Philips 55PFL7108
