3D Titles/Text animation with keyframes, or??

Just looking to have an extruded text rotate about an axis slightly, then back, during a title animation/clip. Ease in/out, the usual stuff.

Problem is, keyframes are for 2D (with no perspective adjustments to even fake it), and 3D has no keyframes! So if you position the 3D text, that is it... it has to stay in that position (this is where I can go no further)...

Please tell me someone knows how to do this... or that I should stop fiddling with it an dreading docs...

thank youappvalley

Weird. I posted a response here yesterday but it completely disappeared.

You didn't say which version of PD you have, but many newer versions come with NewBlue Titler Pro 1.5, and you can apply extrusions and many other effects along with keyframing rolls and tilts to the entire text or one word or caharacter at a time.

You may also want to check the built-in 3D Swing I text effect from PD's Title Designer to see if that will work .

You did post a response yesterday to the OP who posted it again today using a different nickname: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/84272.page .

Because you both fell into the very common spammer trap. The technique of sounding relevant by copying old thread wording. https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/49231.page#post_box_258409

Ok, but what's the point of someone doing this?

I get when a spammer posts something vaguely relevent then edits their post with a malicious link, but what's the payoff here? Just wasting people's time?

I noticed the odd new discussion called "CUDA is back" today, and that's obviously a repost of Sonic67's thread so I'll ask PDM to delete the bogus one.

I'm sure the mods will catch up to the threads, "So we as mods read every post, check every link and remove all spam and other questionable links."
