Thanks! You've got the latest version of PD18 so you're all set there.
The next thing to do is to update your drivers on your new(ish) Inspiron. The Dell support
page shows there's an "urgent" BIOS upgrade that was released just yesterday - although I don't expect that the security issue it's meant to fix is affecting PD in any way.
You also have the latest Dell-approved driver installed for your Intel UHD Graphics GPU. There are more recent versions that have been released by Intel, but it can be difficult to install "OEM" drivers on Dell machines. Still, let the Dell webpage scan your system and detect any drivers that need updating.
If things still look grim, try opening an older project or creating a new project and see if PD will let you make changes and save it. It's possible that the project you've been working with has become corrupt, and the only way to proceed would be to recover an earlier version that was autosaved before the problem occurred or to start all over.
If you can't even work with a new project, try running steps 1 and 3 in this
post. For step 3, ignore the part about the App Manager and use the PD18 installer instead.
NOTE: Don't uninstall PD18
unless you have the original installer present. You'll need to contact CL customer service to get a new copy and a response can take several days. After it's reinstalled make sure you update to 2725 from
here.
