All the movies I have that are not contained in the Cyberlink movie database display the Chineese/Japanese (Forgive my ignorance) and ignores my title on the *.mkv file. All my defaults are set to English but I cannot seem to inhibit the on-line name taking preference in my list. Can I correct this?

Have you installed the latest patch update for PowerDVD? It was released last week and one fix is for cover art:
