Task Mgr "End Tasks"

In the middle of a project and Power Director 16 is crashing every so often. When I pull up Task Mgr on my Win 10 machine I find one or more of the following, so I click on them, "end process", restart PD16 and carry on.

Cyberlink Rich Video Module
Power Director 16
PDHanuman SVR App
PDR Style Agent App

My questions are:

1) to which process are each of the above related
2) Why are they hanging
3) What can I do to prevent this hanging

All of those are related to PD and they are often left running when the main PDR.exe program crashes. You will have to use End Task on PDHanumansvr to launch PD16 again without rebooting, but usually the other two modules can be left running.
