Produce selected clips in a timeline

Hi, I've got a long video but would like to produce them into smaller clips.

Rather than splitting and cutting each time, is there a way just to produce the highlighted / selected sections from the longer clip?

Perfect, thanks so much - I did try to find it but the search kept taking me back to PD9 versions and I didnt know what the terminology was. BUt found it so thanks.
