Why don't audio files from CyberLink Application Manager show up?

I see the audio files in c:\users\public\cyberlink\Downloaded Audio

If I import the folder using "Import media folder" the clips do not show up under "Sound Clips" and do not have descriptive names.

Is there a way to import them as a full library with metadata?

You're right, importing the folder where the clips are locally stored won't give the info you're looking for.

I've done a quick check, and it appears that the titles of all audio pack clips available from the App Manager are already loaded in PD19s Sound Clips and Background and Music libraries. The problem is that if you download a full pack from the App Manager, PD doesn't update the Download entry in those libraries to reflect the content that's now on your PC.

Instead of using the App Manager, if you download the clips directly from either of PD's sound libraries, it does keep track of them and you'll be able to see all available clips by sorting by Download status and genre, so that's what I'd recommend doing.

From what I can see, there's absolutely no point in using App Manager to download these audio clips since PD apparently has no way of displaying the downloaded content. It sure seems like an oversight or a bug.

Ah, I take back the part about the App Manager being useless for audio packs!

As long as PD is closed when you download a pack, it will properly detect the new content and show it as downloaded when you relaunch it.

In this screenshot, I have the App Manager overlaid on PD's Sound Clips library with Transportation genre selected and I've sorted by Download:

I found the issue. It appears that the Trial version of PD19 does not fully uninstall correctly.

I had to uninstall PD19, manually delete c:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Cyberlink, and then reinstall PD19.

After doing this the "Sound Clips" went from 50 clips to 600 clips.

Brilliant thanks, this solved my issue too. Manually deleted the trial version and reinstalled PowerDirector 365 and over 600 sound clips appeared!

I'm having the same issue but it's with PowerDirector 365. I reinstalled and it still doesn't automatically import the audio files.
