HDCP issue with BD from 2004

I just received the Phil Collins Live in Montreux 2004.

Tried playing it with PDVD18, didn't work. Said no valid HDCP for that disk.
Updated to 20, same thing.
Both through HDMI.

Now, I have no problems playing 4K disks through the same monitor and same video output.
I switched to the display port, and it plays fine.

The problem is, if I use the DP, then I can't play 4K disks through it.

Andy

1080p Blu-ray only uses HDCP 1.4.
And, most of the HDCP problems are caused by the OS, GPU hardware, or the display device does not operate the function normally.

If your platform can play 4K disk using HDCP 2.2 protection, that's great, but does your HDMI port operate the backward HDCP 1.4 normally?

I don't know if your GPU settings or the motherboard contains a switch for the HDCP1.4 backward mode.
It's a direction to consider further.
