Hi....

Can anyone tell me if is possible to show 2 or more pictures within 1 frame? I know about PIP, but I want to be able to have 2 or more individual pictures show up on the screen at one time....not necessarily on top of each other.

I hope this makes sense....

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Michelle,
Here's a workaround you might like to try...sort of an unconventional approach.
(I'm writing this from memory...forgive any errors)
1. Open PD
2. Place an image or video in the "Video" time-line.
3. Go to the Titler and select the default titler (under "D" I think in the whole lot of Titles to select from)
4. Drag the Default Title to the Title time-line
5. Expand it to suit...
6. Now remember a Title overlays on what you have in the Video timeline.
7. Open the Titler and select the Import image icon
8. Move the image around to where you want...alter the size etc.
9. Repeat and import as many images as you want.

Okay I might have to re-write this if you don't tell me you got it to work....

Hi Dafydd...

Thanks so much!! It worked great!!

Now....is there anyway to make those images move? Or appear one at a time?

Thanks again for your help!!

Hi again Michelle,
I'm really pleased it was of some use. Image movement using this method... by this I mean drifting across a screen etc isn't possible. However you can be a bit "clever" and load all the images into one Title display and then duplicate the title and in one of them you eliminate an image. It's a sort of 1,2,3,4 and we're all displayed. By placing all the images within the one Title and then eliminating one you make sure the structure is set.

The Title you eliminate the image from must move position in the timeline... to before.

Title duplication.
1. Title in timeline
2. Adjust play length
3. highlight
4. Click Copy (right click on object and select copy)
5. Right Click in Title timeline and select paste.

Hope this helps

Dafydd
PS Again it's from memory...so let me know if I've missed anything essential off.

After my last post I did a search and came up with this which is nearly what I want to do but with Video clips rather than photos. Did try the suggested method but you can only import photo formats. So back to square one is anyone has any thoughts.........
