I'm trying to save multiple images in photodirector 11 with transparent backgrounds. I have already removed the backgrounds, but when I try to save them, there is a white background added to every image that is supposed to be transparent. How can I prevent this white background from being added when I saved?

P.S. I just upgraded to PhotoDirector 11 from an ancient version of Photoshop from 2002, so I may just being dumb, but I really need the backgrounds to be transparent. Any help is appreciated.
