I am inputting a MOV file from my iPhone with these characteristics:
1920 x 1088
9798kpbs data rate
9971kbps total bitrate
29.98 frames/second
If I drag the movie to the timeline and produce a movie, the quality of the video is clear.
If I drag the movie to the timeline, then use PIP Designer to make the image smaller, the resulting video starts out being crystal clear, but out 20 second into the video the image looses its clarity. In the attached Snip 3, you can see the clarity in the notes of the pedal board under my feet. In the attached Snip 2, you can see that the pedal notes have little wavy lines on them. The once clear picture has become somewhat out of focus, most noticibly in the pedals.
In the original downloaded MOV file from the iPhone, the image is very clear throughout the entire video.
This seems to occur only when I reduce the size of the image using PIP Designer.
To produce the video, I am using H.264 AVC and MPEG-4 1920x1080/30p (16 Mbps). What I can't understand is that when I play the video created by PowerDirector, the video starts out crystal clear and then becomes slightly out of focus sometime later. The out of focusness remains for the rest of the video.
Any suggestions?
thanks!
