Hi,

Can someone tell me how to remove the moovielive screen from power dvd 9 ultra when it starts up?

I don't use it and it looks a bit rubbish to have that login screen display every time it starts, especially since I'm not using it.

I don't really expect to be bombarded with adware in a £60 piece of software.

Thanks in advance

One of the reasons I went back to a standalone.

Support, software and problems are outstanding.

I wait for the SlySoft player, till then, I'm very pleased with the Philips BDP 7500.

No problem, I found out how to do it:

Change these registry keys:

HKLM\Software\Cyberlink\PowerDVD9

EnableMovieLibrary
EnableMovieRemix

to 0.

Rename the file 2cMovie.dll in the powerdvd 9 directory to something else (like .old) and no more moooooovie.

Also managed to create a skin to remove the grinning woman from the splash screen.

Much better now...

For Vista x64, this is in HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Cyberlink\PowerDVD9 (or whichever version)

DO NOT edit the registry if you don't know what you're doing.
