Very unlikely it's in the PD rendering of your timeline, it's more than likely a setting in your playback utility, whatever it may be.

Hi Dan -

As Jeff suggests, some media players (by default) display the file name briefly at the start of playback.

e.g. The file name will be shown If you're using:

• Windows Films & TV


• VLC Player


• Windows Media Player


• Pot Player


• GOM Player


• 5K Player

... but not with these media players:

• MPC-HC


• Windows Photos


• DiVX Player

The brief filename display for the VLC Player can be disabled. Tools => Preferences => Subtitles/OSD => uncheck "Show media title on video start"
