I can see a setting for playing videos one after another, which I've set, but not for audio. I didn't have this problem with the previous version.

Hello,

The previous message was a spam post that was removed.

Once you import music into the media library, you have to option to repeat all the songs in an album, for an artist, all songs in the library, or in a playlist. The control is three from the left of the play button. Please let me know if this is what you were referring to.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply. When I try the repeat loop, it repeats only the track highlighted in the play list.

The strange thing is that sometimes the tracks are played in sequence, and on other occasions only the selected track plays and I have to start the next track all the way through. What is the default behaviour: single or continuous?

Hello,

Click the repeat button again. It goes from Repeat Current, to Repeat All, to Repeat Off. The button next to the left of it is for Shuffle, so check if it is on as well.

Cheers

So, without Repeat only the current track will play?

Hello,

No, it plays like any normal media player. PowerDVD will play all the tracks in the current album, playlist, etc. until the end.

Cheers

Thanks. Does that apply if I select the first track or if I choose a track some way down the list? (I'm trying to understand why it doesn't work some of the time.)

I guess it is about how you start your music playback.

powerdvd might act differently depending on where you start the music playback (e.g. from the music library, playlist, powerdvd's file browser, or Windows file explorer).
