PowerDirector Ultra gives you a complete package of video editing tools. It alone is a pretty powerful package and it will likely provide everything you need.

Ultimate gives you a larger selection of effects, transitions and other content.

The bundles include tools for editing photos.

If you'd rather not purchase the program outright, you can lease it for a small monthly fee. The chief advantage here is that you get free upgrades whenever a new version is released. The disadvantage is that, when you stop the subscription, you can no longer use the program.

Once you produce a video, it exists seperately from PowerDirector. You can store them anywhere and use them as you wish.
