PowerDVD 7/8 Ultra upgrade to PowerDVD 9 Ultra
[Post New]
Hi!

I just bought an upgrade to my older PowerDVD version.
The version I'm using is a 7.3.

I got to the point where the site should'uv given me a new Serial Number
and a download link + send the information to me via e-mail, but this is the point where everything stopped.

I didn't get a new serial number
I didn't get the download link
I didn't get any e-mails from CyberLink with any information

I only got an e-mail from PayPal that the money has been transfered succesfully.

I tried searching for information regarding the situation and got another dead end.

Information says to go to member site and then from Customer Support click on the Check Order Status -- Gets me to a page cannot be displyaed typed of error.

When I check from Support Tickets -> My Order History I can see the information of my order. Payment is completed YEY, but No serial or anything.

Looks like the company likes money and MAYBE they like the customers too (btw. I like money too)

Now I can see that there are 2 different instances of purchase. One that I have a receipt for (showing as Order Submited) and second that I don't know what it is (showing payment pending)...

So some weird stuff has happened on the ordering server. MB: ASUS P5E Deluxe

Seems like everything is getting back in order.

Got an e-mail with a serial + download link + an order cancelation notice.
Few things still odd but I think CyberLink people can manage to get everything in order.

Mostly thanks to Dafydd. Sent an e-mail to CyberLink and waiting for final reply to solve everything left.

I love cyberlink products myself. Got Pinnacles products and others, but only using / buying new CyberLink products since they are easy to use and get the job done...

Only thing I can think of being wrong, is the support. Or the lack of it without contacts.

Currently having:

PowerDVD
PowerProducer
PowerDirector
PowerCinema
Power2Go
MediaShow
LabelPrint
InstantBurn

Most likely going to get more.
