"Automatically play next video when video ends" -- unchecking this option does not seem to work

In PowerDVD 19 under Settings-->Player Settings-->General there is an option called "Automatically play next video when video ends" which is not working for me.

Here's what the manual says about this option: "Automatically play next video when video ends: select this option if you want CyberLink PowerDVD to play the next video it finds in a folder when playback of the previous one ends."

I would prefer the next video not to automatically play so I have made sure that the box is unchecked so that this option is not selected.

The problem is that, despite this option not being selected, the next video in the folder does automatically play anyway.

Any ideas on how to prevent PowerDVD 19 from automatically playing the next video in a folder when the previous one ends?

Thanks!

This option works normally in my powerdvd 19. When I start video playback no matter from the video library or a file folder, powerdvd won't play next video after the previous one ends.

I suggest you try reinstall powerdvd from scratch by resetting or cleaning out personal settings while setup. It might probably work.
