Slow Down Video Fade-In?

When I do a video fade-in, the picture has mostly faded in after about 1/4 of the time set and then very slowly fades in to full brightness. Is there anyway to slow down the start of the fade-in?

Have you considered increasing the duration of the transition so it is slower take longer to complete.

Another option would be for you to download one of the 50 fade transition from the DirectorZone and modiffy it using a parabola instead of a linear curve with transition designer.

Another option is to create it with an image program and modify the parameters with transition designer yourself. Use the help files to guide you. Choose whatever is easier for you...

Another option is to simply adjust the opacity line (green line top of video) to go from black 0% to full video 100% in whatever time and rate changes you like. Pic attached showing 4 intervals defined from 0-100% at times of ones choosing.
