I reinstalled the powerdirector 17 ultra but my masks got reset.
Thank god I still have the original mask, but I now have a project without the mask and that is not good.
How can I fix this without manually putting the same mask over 1000s of clips.

Is there any way to add the missing source, connecting the path on the project?

PD shouldn't have removed any of your customized items, unless you specifically clicked on that option during the uninstall where it asked if you wanted to remove all personalized/custom settings.

The default path for the first mask you created is (possibly on OneDrive) \Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\17.0\MyPinPs\PinP_000, with the 3-digit number at the end increasing for each mask you've saved. If you have more than one mask, you'll need to open your project in an XML/text editor like NotePad++ and do a search for PinP_0, then make note of the actual number used in that mask name.

Then open a new project and import your original mask and save it, then exit PD and rename that PinP_000 folder to match the number in the original project. You will need to do this for each different mask you have, but you only need to do this one time for each mask.

When you reopen the original project, PD should find the mask(s) right where it expects them, and your project should be fully restored.

Sorry for the extremely late reply, but I'll save this in my tab.
Because this is exactly what I need if get my masks deleted again, or even pull masks from other projects.

Thank you.

What? Where are my masks? All the brush masks, except one, in C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\17.0\Cache\photoTmp\ are gone?
