I want to save/burn some pinned YouTube videos from PowerDVD 18 to a DVD using Windows Media Player. I have been able to burn extracted audio using Windows Media Player to a CD.

Does anyone know of a way I can burn the pinned videos?

I don't think this would work, because the pinned files can't be played outside of PowerDVD. You need to get Power2Go to do this:
