I have had to uninstall and reinstall this programs a few times after trying everything I can find read or infer from other responses I have tried to uninstall and reinstall PowerDVD19 this on more than one attempt did fix the problem. I was having to try that again and when I reinstalled it it says limit reached for license code.Doesn't it look at how many different devices it has been installed on to determine if it can still be used on a device that it was already installed on? If that is not correct please advise or suggest how I can recover the code for use on devices that have already had PowerDVD19 installed on them. All o0f the three computers I have installed this on have all successful in running the program. The only issue that continues to re occur is that the Blu-ray DVD drive sometimes seems to have vanished. It won't recognize any dvd placed in it that includes regular DVDs data dvds and especially Bluray DVDs . I check for the correct driver and usually it seems to work best with the original driver and not any of the updated one's. So I stopped trying to update it.This has happend on both the Bluray RW drives I own. One is an LG the other is a PLextor. I have used each successfully to both play and write to bluray discs. Help!! One more thing I have found that if I run any of my older versions of anyDVD it works best. I reecently purchased a new version of that program and it works okay. I am a bit upset with that company as i had puchased that program years ago along with a lifetime membership which included updates. They shut down the orignal company and opened a new one thus invalidating all of the old customers lifetime membership privleges. But I did not see anywhere when researching PowerDVD 19 that any other software was required to be able to play Bluray discs. The codecs are said to be integrated in the program. But I have never been able to get it to play any Bluray DVDs without that tgird party program. And I was only trying to play Blurays that were predated what cyberlink had stated anything after that date which I think was 2004 may or may not play. It seems a bit silly to purchase a program to play Bluray discs but the only ones that are to be a sure thing are 15 years old. I do still enjoy my older Blurays but I am disappointed that a new program has not yet found a reliable way to play more up to date media. 4k and above wasn't even out back then so I can I be sure it will play now on the latest greates bluray player out? My computers and bothg graphics cards will do 4k one even does 8k only one of them has the ability to play in true theater mode. I am an experienced field service and bench tech from back in 2988 and I continue to try and stay current with the things I still use or find interesting and some of this doesn't make any sense.
