Can I run a PD 17 file in PD16

There are 2 of us collaborating on a project. One has PD 16 the other 17. An project was done in 17. Any way to use this file in 16?
Right now is shows on error message.

Hi,
There is no easy or practical way to use a project produced in a later version of PDR in an earlier version.
Later versions are backwardly compatible and are designed to open a project produced in a previous version but not the other way around.
