powerdvd 17 won't change region code

hello

i have power dvd 17 which i paid good money for because i thought it would enable 3d blu ray playback on my computer.

can you please explain why you have a non-functioning menu in this program? i go to blu-ray menu and try to change region code while my legitimately purchased european disc is inserted in the drive. program reports i have 5 region chagnes remaining. i click to change to european country and nothing happens.

why do you have a menu that does nothing? why no error message?

previous versions of power dvd would prompt you upon disc insertion to change the region, why is this version making this impossible?

this is utterly ridiculous. there better be a simple resolution.

This issue is usually caused by BD components not being loaded properly. Try reinstalling PowerDVD 17 or updating Windows. If that doesn't work, check that PowerDVD is added to your antivirus/firewall exclusion list.
