Power Director 365 - on a Surface Pro?
[Post New]
Hi

I have generally been a Mac / iPad user, but have started back with Windows and Power Director for video editing, Has anyone used PD365 or earlier versions on a surface pro or other surface product, if so, what spec

or can you recommend a smaller more mobile windows laptop

I need something mobile, current laptop is a gaming MSI laptop and heavy to carry around

thanks

Yes. I've been using PD on my i7 Surface Pro 3 for the past 4 years. It's not my main editing machine but it works well with the HD 60p clips I usually worked with.

A new Surface Book 2, Surface Laptop 2, or Surface Pro 6 with an 8th generation i7 should all work well even with 4K clips, and the SB2 also has a quad-core CPU and a dedicated nVidia GTX 1050 (2GB memory) with a 13.5"/34,2cm display or 1060 (6GB memory) GPU with a 15"/38,1cm display, and that last option would be my top pick if video editing performance is your top criteria.

You can select those 3 products and compare specs here.

Not sure of your ultimate timeframe, CL announced under development:
PD iOS support, 2020Q1
PD MAC support, 2020Q4
