I've been out of the loop a few years; mainly due to lack of processing power & insternet speed.

Well I temp get to use my kids gaming computer; so it should have some umph; and getting Fibet at home, so no more <1M upload speeds yay!

So I'm going to start dabeling again; mainly making youtube videos.

What output should I pick? (I have PD 14 currently)
H.264 or h265; M2ts, mp4, mkv; ?

My phone is my source; says video is HD 720P or Full HD 1080P

I usually made slideshows for my kids school activities; so I know this can do much more. I just don't have go pro or 360camera etc.

What else should I be watching, doing to learn?

Thanks

This tutorial should answer your questions about making YouTube videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cT-UCFWOQc&t . Check out the other tutorials on the PowerDirector University channel for more help.
