I use PowerDVD ver. 17, latest update.
When I check FullScreen, the UI is NOT vanishing.
And I DON'T want the advertisement for some new PDVD-versions on my PAYED screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Press the Z key on your keyboard to go to full screen. If it is not working for you, there must be an issue with your GPU card, so ensure you are using the latest version.

As for the update notifications, you can disable them in General settings. Just deselect "Check for product update information".
