Preview during trim is black??

Hi, when I go to trim or even multi trim a video, I get sound but no video preview. Not even if I use one of the sample videos that comes with Powerdirector.

I just upgraded to 17 from 15, never had this problem using 15.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you optimize the GPU? try to do it again,
Shortcut (Alt + C) or Menu, Edit, Preferences
Harware Acceleration, Optimize.
If not, uncheck the box, Enable Harware Decoder.
Make sure your video card drivers are in order. XEON-E5-2680 v4 / Mem. 16GB DDR4
M.2 NVME 512Gb / 2-SSD Sata3 1TB
AMD RX570 / Display Philips 272V8
Windows 11_64Pro / PD22/365
