I recently got PowerDVD 9 Ultra, the demo worked find and open up and played dvd and BD-disk. Now after removal of demo and fresh install program, reseted pc. Then after full start up, click program open , nothing open up, but other programs related to the program started up. I tried to reinstall the program, after removing completely still no go and did an restart after each fresh install. And same thing Program didn't start up but other programs that run with it running in the back ground. Nothing else running in while trying to access the program.(did attempt to install on local C and on my data drive to run, didn't work on ether)

I get all green for CyberLink Advisor, except some reason it doesn't see my full memory or processor. I have run encoder's. mutable vnc's, watch a bd with trail software and still not use 50% of proc or memory, but still this thing wont open up...

Thanks for any help you can give I'm clueless on what to do.

Very nice tech support, very fast reply my only issue is "{2BF2E31F-B8BB-40A7-B650-98D28E0F7D47}" is in none of them path's
[b][i]

The issue of them giving me 8 for vista don't bother me because . XP and vista pretty much have same layout for programs it's fun mentally putting 9 and xp in the response and ignoring the vista and version 8, some people would flip instantly when seeing the wrong software name in there instruction, but I'm happy with what I got.

Any one know the correct reg folder name to wipe out??(If I get adv from tech suport the correct info I'll post it, since in mind if some one did a fresh dl of the software(from a reliable isp/conection, and followed the rest of instructions here it should fix there issue)

Thanks for your time and help.

Well the reply I got was follow the org instructions and remove the folder's h-key's..... Sorry I knew it wouldn't work. about to go for refund due to people don't know how to read and flip to there right help file to copy and past.

As to just remove the hot-key's that belong to the program... Kind hard to find them if you don't rip apart the native msi installer and find what the name is. With out some one telling you whats the correct one.. Cant go just by modify date and , or delete a h-key that was in version 8 but may not install with version 9.. Since all the h-key's are not under the programs name..(starting to get annoyed)

Maybe 3rd time is a charm?? Or any bets they tell me to keep repeating them steps till there program work?? Think It's possible to get more then two response from tech support in one day??
