Time and date stamps on photos

Returned from holidays with 300 plus photos with date and time stamps on them. Can they be removed in power director 16, or do i use photo director if its possible.

Some photo viewer can display that exif data on those 300 photos and that can be turned off. Or do you mean that the date and time stamp is permanently embeded on each photo by your camera. Please explain as I have not seen that since the days of film cameras.

Yes, It is the camera that embeds it on the photos then i down load them to power director 16 and it is on these photos. The camera is Canon power shot sx210. Hope that helps.

You will need PhotoDirector and it's removal tool. This will probably have varied results as it can have problems if there is a busy background behind what you want to remove.

My camera can be set to add the date in this way, but I turned it off for exactly this reason. Having said that, I managed to clear the date away in most cases.
