Hi Geoffrey,

You have to set your project's aspect ratio before you enter the produce window.

To do that, click on the Director's Chair icon > Edit > Aspect Ratio > 4:3 or
16:9.

Dave

geoffrey,

Assuming you made saves to .pds, do you remember what you called the pds files?

In Windows, try this...
Start > Search > (then just enter "pds" into the search box), and let Windows search for any saved pds files that you can't locate.
If Windows finds it, then create a new folder and copy that once lost .pds to that new folder, and then follow the video instructions above, on how to change the aspect ratio.

In the future, it would always be a good idea to create a new folder for each project you do, and then save everything in the project, to that project's folder.

Good Luck!

Hi Geoffrey,

Please remember to save a copy of your .pds file as a backup.

Use the option 'open with' and then browse or choose notepad from the options.

This will open the .pds file - which is a plain text file - and you can then carry out your edit from the tutorial using notepad as the editor.

when your edit is complete use 'save' or 'save as' whichever you choose.

Cheers
Adrian
