Error when downloading any templates, transitions etc

Hello,
I keep getting this error:

"A error occured while opening this media file in the media library. It may be because the file is broken, an usupported format, protected video content, or for another reason. Try contacting your video provider for a different video format."

I have Powerdirector version 12.0.4425.0 and I am having issues with downloading off the director zone site. I am aware of the 16:9 and 4:3 ratio. That isn't the problem.

I had this program installed on another computer and thought that I copied all the files to my new laptop. Could that be the issue? What should have I done to copy it properly to my new laptop? Thanks for your help in advance

Having downloaded a template, are you then double clicking on it to invoke PDR's file extractor? You can't just import it into your project, it's a zip file that has to be unpacked first and that's done automatically when you run it after downloading.
