I just do my first steps with photodirector 9.0.2727.0 SR PTD180111-01.
I tried to import a directory from a network drive e.g. \\SYNODISK1\photo\Allgemein. There are som jpg file on that directory, but the app says "there are no jpeg, phi, png. raw files.
I thought it would be a good idea to use the network drive, so i can connect to it by my notebook to present a selection of photos to friends via my TV, using the photodirector.
So my question is, is there no support of network drives ?
Has anybody experience with that subject ?

I don't have any network drives to test, but you may be able to assign the network drive a drive letter (like N: ) which PhD should then treat as a normal, local drive.

Here's an article with simple steps to do that.
