I have been requesting Tamron 16-300 for a while now, it doesn't look like the 9 Ultra has it. Any thoughts as to when they may include this lens profile?

You're correct. There is no lens profile available in PhD for the Tamron 16-300. I'm quite certain CL has received a mountain of DZ requests for various lens profiles.



Using a selection of sample files shot with the Tamron 16-300 on Nikon D4, Nikon D7100, Canon 7Dii & Canon 70D, I imported into Adobe Lightroom (with its comprehensive batch of camera & lens profiles). My purpose was to try to replicate (in PhD) the impact of the correct profile applied in Lr.

Interestingly, even though Lr detected the camera models & lens correctly & the Tamron 16-300 profile is present, Lr would NOT apply the right profile. Instead, it chose Tamron Di 28-75mm. I've not conquered that little side issue yet.

CyberLink is aware of the need for camera & lens profiles to be regularly updated. We can only trust that our requests will be met in the near future.
