Powerdvd 9 - playback is stuck at 1.1x speed

I downloaded powerdvd 9 trial and right away ran into this problem. It seems that it's unable to paly at normal 1.0x speed. has anyone noticed this?

Hey buddy,
Yes it will stick in 1.1x especially if you are using your mouse to scroll forwards and backwards. However, just click the big main play button and it will go back to 1.0x.

I have found that changing the speed of the video using the mouse wheel for either fast foward or reverse will cause PowerDVD 9 Standard Version to lock up completely. I have to use task manager to shut down the application. Sounds like a bug. Anyone else experience this?
