Hi to all on this forum.
I recently bought Power Director 16 and installed on my older computer as I
wanted to use it for editing and other photo/video projects only.
This computer decided to start dying. Is there a way to transfer an uncompleted
project to my new computer without having to start over? I have PD16 up and working
on the new computer. Thank you for any advice anyone can give me, Mike.

The safe way, takes a while,
On your previous PC use the option, File, Pack Project Materials...
This creates a folder with the project and all the material used in it, videos, audio, effects etc ...
Save or copy to pen drive to load on new PC

Option, If you have all the material I use in the project on the new PC, open the project file, you will be asked if you want to search for missing files, found continue your project with no problems.

Hi. I didn't want to open the new topic. I created my new project on my laptop with PD13, but I'd like to finish it on my PC with PD15. Shall i expect any problems or all build are compatybile?

It depends, if your project does not contain effects created by you, therefore it is in a folder in the previous PC, will not miss anything.
If you have applied material that you have created or no doubt.
Use the menu option, File / Pack Project Materials ... XEON-E5-2680 v4 / Mem. 16GB DDR4
M.2 NVME 512Gb / 2-SSD Sata3 1TB
AMD RX570 / Display Philips 272V8
Windows 11_64Pro / PD22/365

"I didn't want to open the new topic"

That's always been the preferred way forward in the forum as it avoids confusion but anyway - PD has always been backwardly compatible so you'll have no problem. The opposite doesn't work i.e. projects created with older versions won't work on later ones and this is the industry norm.
