Feature request: Controller/Xinput support
[Post New]
I'd like to see either in an update or in the next version of PowerDVD support for using a controller as a remote, similarly to how it can be used on consoles, with the triggers regulating speed of playback, bumpers skipping from chapter to chapter, and various buttons having different playback functions.

Or even better, add the possibility to create your own input scheme/macro scheme. Thanks for listening.

For BD/DVDs, the chapters are skippable or not depending on each movie disc design.
Most of those non-skippable parts are advertisements, trailer, FBI warning, etc.
I think it doesn't matter a controller has the button to skip or not. It simply doesn't allow you to skip during the playback.

There are some programmable remote controllers on the market.
Perhaps you can set the powerdvd keyboard hotkeys mapping directly on the controller buttons.
