I am stumped so can someone explain to me how to do this? I want to zoom in slowly to a spot on a USA map and then have it go directly to a video clip I have of that city. Also when you add an effect with magic tool how to you get it to slow down? Thanks!

Here is a tutorial about zooming in (or out) on a picture.

Once you get to the place where you want to have the othe image on the screen, you can make it pop up, or use other motion options.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Hi I actually have been watching your videos. Btw my name is Jim also but ok I get this part. Now I want it to zoom staying in the middle of the map and then go up to the city of chicago real close. Then once it hits that spot I want to insert a video clip that will transition in and go full screen. Is this possible or am I asking too much lol Thanks

Jim,

Your question inspired me to create a tutorial about this. I'm causing a still image to appear in the tutorial when I zoom in on a city, but you could use a video in it's place. I should have the video on YouTube within 30 minutes. I'll send you a link when it's uploaded.

Jim, thank you for time and great how to video! Now is there anyway to insert a video clip instead of a picture at the point on the map? Thanks!

I just added a tutorial showing how to do that technique using a video. It's here.
