Power DVD 18 reclaims the hand between tracks while playing music

I just love to have music played in the background while working on my computer. For this, I used to play my Music on PowerDVD, with the program always visible, reduced to the smallest size possible with the artwork of the album displayed., while I worked somewhere else - Word or whatever. The problem is, with PowerDVD18, the keyboard input goes to the player once a track is finished. In other words PowerDVD reclaims the hand. If the keyboard input (which is random relatively to the music being played) happens to be a command, the music stops, skips or whatever.

That's why I now use Windows media player, which does its job and stays quiet while I'm working elsewhere. But I would definitely like to be able to use PowerDVD again without this inconvenience.

You use the mini view feature to play a playlist, right?
I can't minimize the playback window to a cover art size unless I add music to a playlist first.

I have to resize the window manually to fit the cover art. I do not see no mini view feature. I recall there was one with PowerDVD 17

The mini view I mentioned is this one that added in PowerDVD 18:

I can replicate the same symptom you found when the playback was switching to the next track.
Tell them by contacting support if you wish.

It is not a good experience if someone is playing music and doing other works simultaneously.
