I have a gunshot audio file in my effects library. How do I place it on my timeline?

I've downloaded several audio effects and they are now in my audio library in Power Director. One of them is a gunshot sound. How do I place that sound, and others on the timeline of a video I'm creating? Complexity is primarily an illusion. It disappears with Knowledge.

Is the sound in your media room (F3 key)?

Once you have the effect in your library you can drag it to any audio track and position it where you want it in the timeline of your project.
