I couldn't play any blu-rays on PowerDVD 11 so I got PowerDVD 18. But it doesn't work. It just keeps telling me there is no disc in drive E. Certain older blu-rays would play in powerdvd 11 but not newer ones. I don't know what's going on.

Hi,
Sounds like you disc drive firmware may need updating, as this and your GPU driver need to be updated to play Blu-rays conitnually. See this as example:
