I can't hear ANY audio through PowerDirector. I've raised all the volume controls (both on my computer and in PD), increased decibles in the Audio Room, reinstalled the program, removed the audio track and re-uploaded it. I know the audio is there because I can hear it through my Windows Media player, and I can see the decible reading on PD. I'm working in PD 15 on Windows 10. Please help!!

I have spent hours on a project I was getting close to completing and something happened tonight. The sound/audio on all of my files just disappeared and is not working at all now. I turned off the computer and reopened and still not working. Audio on the computer is not the problem as it is working fine for everything outside of PD 15.

I also opened a previous PD 15 project from last year to see if it was having the same problem and no audio on that one either. This program is so damn buggy, I've just about had it.

Can anyone provide any insight into what may have happened and how to restore it? If I can't get the audio back, I am going to be devastated given the amount of time I've already spent on this project. I'm hoping I'm just panicking but I'm almost ready to go through and start adjusting clip volumes to complete the project and am in full on panic mode right now.

It's always best to start your own thread. Even though, on the face of it, someone else's post is exactly the same as your own there are always multiple possible causes of problems.

So, assuming you've gone through the article I mentioned previously and definitely eliminated each of the possible causes, I'd suggest posting again in a new thread including the output from dxdiag on your computer (in a .txt file).

smile - OK I've just seen that you've already posted again in a separate thread.
