Hallo,

mir wurde vorhin angezeigt, daß es einen neuen Patch für PowerDVD 8 Ultra gibt.
Gut, runtergeladen und wollte das Update 3017 installieren. Im Verlauf der Installationsroutine kommt aber ne Meldung, daß der Patch nur für PowerDVD 8 Standard, Deluxe und Ultra ist.... danach bricht die Installation ab.

Aber das hab ich ja installiert... natürlich auch ehrlich gekauft und alles... die vorigen Patches haben keinen Aufstand gemacht.

Wer hat das selbe Problem? Kann's vielleicht an den 3 Diensten von PowerDVD im Autostart liegen? Die hab ich alle deaktiviert.

Well, I'm not sure what was said in the previous post, but I'm sure it has something to do with patch 3017 for Powerdvd 8 Ultra causing the program to cease functioning.

After updating, my program crashes on startup every time. Not a big surprise with Cyberlink products. I've not owned a Cyberlink product that worked correctly yet. Do not update to patch 3017 unless your feeling lucky. I had to uninstall and reinstall, which meant PDVD 7 and then version 8 plus the patches.

Sorry, i tought it is a German forum!

My problem was solved in the meantime... I was downloaded the 3017 Patch directly in the programm. (No good idea)
So I tried the download from the cyberlink-download-site and that download is a little bit larger than the download directly from the programm.

The end of the song is, that the download from the cyberlink-site works without a problem. And now I have PowerDVD 8 Ultra with the Update 3017.

Oh mann... der neue Patch 3017 is auch nicht besser als der vorige Patch.
Bei mir hängt sich mit dem neuen Patch andauernd PowerDVD 8 Ultra auf... Ich hab mal 70€ für das Programm gezahlt und ich find diese Patcherei langsam echt nervend und schlimm... grad dann wenn die alten Patches nicht mehr auf der Homepage angeboten werden.

Ich vermiss schmerzhaft den Patch 2217a. Kann mir jemand helfen?
Wenn man danach googelt dann findet man nur Warez-mist! Und keine sauberen Patches.

Da kann ich nur zustimmen.
Mit Build 3017 startet PowerDVD nun gar nicht mehr. Beim letzten Build hat die Bluray-Wiedergabe nicht funktioniert. Ich frage mich, ob die Entwickler überhaupt ihre Erzeugnisse testen.

Und warum die "Patches" gleich das ganze Programm enthalten müssen, versteh ich auch nicht. Jedesmal sind das über 100 MB für einen Patch, der dann auch noch nicht mal funktioniert.

Den Build 2217 hab ich noch da, allerdings kanns bei meinem Bauern-DSL ne Weile dauern, bis ich das wo hochgeladen hab.
